Topic | Why the creative economy is the sustainable economy

David MacGregor is co-founder of Idealog, second most widely distributed business magazine in New Zealand.  His career has spanned advertising, Internet strategy, design and publishing - he was the youngest Creative Director for a multi-national advertising agency in NZ and the first to win the Axis Award for emerging talent.  He created Family Health Diary and Eating Well, winners of the Marketing Awards consecutively in 2005 and 2006 - they are also among the biggest brands on NZ television.  He works as a brand consultant and teaches at Massey University's School of Design.  ATI alumni, having studied advertising and marketing in the early 80's - he is currently working on a Masters thesis about Nation Branding.
